I had long dreamed of visiting Ha Long Bay and was very excited to finally make it after 4 years living in Vietnam. I booked a day trip with a local tourism company and lost my group while I was taking pictures of the beautiful view. They had to wait for me at our ship, luckily I caught up quite quick! It was rather touristy but that only adds to the number of boats on the water, which makes quite a sight. It was a lovely day on the cruise ship meeting other travelers from mostly Korea and India. The cave that we visited was incredibly special as well. I also took a ride on a speedboat which was a surprising little fun adventure!
